With this Smart Finder you can always keep track of your favorite items, wherever they are in the world, provided you use Apple’s Find My network. When ‘Notify when left behind’ is set, you will receive a notification on your device when your Smart Finder is out of range (Bluetooth); you can also disable this. When you are near your Smart Finder, you can have it play a ‘beep tone’ via the Find My app. Simply follow the sound to find your keys, for example.
